Frigel Microgel RS TCUs offer multiple innovations

Aug. 26, 2024
They offer precise temperature accuracy, increased reliability and a wide range of options.

Microgel RS series Frigel’s full range of high-performance single- (RSM) and dual-zone (RSD) temperature-control units (TCUs), introduced as the company celebrated its 30th anniversary of its Microgel product line at NPE2024, has booster pumps and integrated portable chillers. It includes configurations specifically designed for packaging (RSP) and extrusion (RSB). The machine-side TCUs are designed for molding throughputs ranging from 20 pounds to 530 pounds per hour.

What’s new? The RS series, which features a series of innovations, including optimized mechanical design, increased reliability and a wide range of options such as flow meters, variable-frequency drives (VFDs), return/remote temperature sensors that enable full process control capability.

Benefits Long-term high performance and product quality improvement. The TCUs provide precise temperature accuracy over the entire control range, from 23 degrees Fahrenheit to 194 degrees Fahrenheit. In addition, cycle cooling times are minimized, thanks to the RS range’s powerful pumps. The TCUs’ new user interface offers full connectivity and interoperability via the Frigel MiND platform
