Robots Wittmann’s robot portfolio includes everything from sprue pickers and pick-and-place robots to the company’s ultra-fast Sonic line and its flexible W9 and WX series.
What’s new? An update to the R9 controls’ QuickNew Wizard, dealing with insert molding applications. The wizard provides support to users when they create programs. Standard commands relevant to the programs, such as “mold open” or “ejector in position,” are automatically factored into the program sequence — without any action on the part of the operator. The wizard allows operators to make programming changes without any in-depth programming expertise. As standard, the QuickNew Wizard will be available on all new R9 controls; it also can be added to existing R9 controls.
Benefits Ease of programming. Now standard with Wittmann’s robots, the R9 control is ergonomic and provides visual and tactile feedback.
