Sepro Group announced that it has acquired a majority stake in Garbe Automatisme, a manufacturer of automation solutions based in Izernore, France.
Sepro said the move cements its position as a leading global supplier of automation solutions for plastics injection molders. Both companies are privately held, and financial terms of the transaction, which was completed in July, were not disclosed.
By adding Garbe and its 9,687-square-foot operation will double Sepro’s automation capacity in France and boost its global capacity by 20 percent. Garbne is known for producing complex, multi-step automation systems for injection molders who serve the automotive, medical, packaging, household appliance and other industries.
Sepro Group is based in La Roche sur Yon, France.
