Kistler ComoScout monitors voltage

Oct. 17, 2022
The system can provide easy entry into process monitoring for older injection molding machines.

ComoScout This new process monitoring system from Kistler tracks voltage signals from the injection molding machine and from sensors with voltage signals of up to 10 volts.

What’s new? The system, which Kistler showcased at the K Show.

Benefits Cost-effective, easy-to-use access to process monitoring. Kistler says the system provides entry-level access to machine insights for manufacturers who were previously hesitant about investing in process monitoring, helping them to stabilize their production processes and reduce scrap. In addition, with its OPC-UA interface, ComoScout serves as a gateway into the digital world for older machines. It is also attractive for sectors that previously did not focus on process monitoring based on cavity sensors.
