CRX Fanuc’s CRX collaborative robots are suited for tasks such as inspection, machine loading and unloading, packing, palletizing, sanding and welding. They stop when they contact a person or object, making them safe for working alongside people without guarding. The rugged cobots feature interactive programming that allows users to teach them using hand guidance or a tablet interface with drag-and-drop icons.
What’s new? The CRX-5iA, CRX-20iA/L and CRX-25iA cobots, which have maximum payloads of 11 pounds, 44 pounds and 55 pounds, respectively. They join the CRX-10iA and CRX-10iA/L models, which have 22-pound payloads. Fanuc began shipping the CRX-20iA/L this spring; the other two cobots will be available in June.
Benefits More payload options for manufacturers seeking to improve efficiency and productivity. Their user-friendliness makes them appropriate for companies that have no experience with robots. Additionally, the reliable units can remain maintenance-free for up to eight years.
