Engel North America announced that effective Jan. 31, Paul Caprio has left the company. Caprio joined the company as its president on Jan. 2, 2020.

In September, the company created a new management board, led by CEO Mark Sankovitch. An Engel spokesperson said the position of president has been absorbed by the new management board.

The board includes current COO Vanessa Malena, who leads after-sales service, automation and engineering; CSO Benjamin Lettner, whose responsibilities include sales, marketing and application engineering; and CFO Johann Dastl, who continues to manage finance, human resources and IT. Sankovitch leads the board and is active across all departments.

“This team of talent is ready to work long into the future for many years to come supporting our customers with effective decision making and drive,” Sankovitch said.

In its announcement, the company expressed its gratitude for the role Caprio played over the last two years. Engel Group has also announced changes in its leadership.
