i4L series This series of four-axis SCARA robots from Omron comes in models with three different reaches and a maximum payload of 11 pounds. The robots are easy to integrate with other Omron Automation products as well as third-party automation platforms. They are appropriate for precision machining, assembly and material-handling tasks.

What’s new? Ease of installation. The i4L Series robots have a compact footprint and can be mounted horizontally or vertically. They have options for rear or bottom cable routing, which makes it easy to fit them into existing applications. Omron’s Automation Control Environment software comes with menu-guided wizards for motion, vision and process programming.

Benefits Sustained performance. The i4L Series offers the combination of high inertia and high duty ratings, which are uncommon in lighter-duty SCARA robots. Add to this its high degree of repeatability, and this series can reliably handle very challenging tasks.
