KR 3 Delta D1200 HM This four-axis delta robot from Kuka has an all-stainless-steel body and a 6.6-pound payload. While the KR3 Delta D1200 HM is designed for direct contact with food or medicines, it is a good choice for a wide range of uses, including pick-and place tasks, assembly, palletizing and packaging. It can also be used for kitting functions, where it removes parts moving down a conveyor to fill a tray, for example.
What’s new? The KR 3 Delta D1200 HM — the first delta robot from Kuka.
Benefits Low cost of operation. The robot has self-lubricating ball joints, needs no grease change for its entire life, and has low maintenance requirements. It comes with the KR C5 micro controller — Kuka’s latest generation — which takes up less space and consumes less power than other controllers. The robot is made for ceiling mounting, has a small footprint and with its IP 67 protection rating against moisture and dust, it is easy to safely clean and disinfect to meet strict hygiene standards.
