Japan Steel Works America Inc. and iMFLUX plan to integrate iMFLUX processing software into all of JSW America’s injection molding machines (IMMs).
The collaboration will bring iMFLUX’s low-constant-pressure capabilities to JSW’s high-speed all-electric presses, a combination the companies said is particularly advantageous for packaging applications.
IMFLUX plans to hold a virtual event on July 20 to demonstrate the use of its processing technology on a JSW machine.
With headquarters in New York, JSW America supplies IMMs from its parent company, Japan Steel Works, to the U.S. market. Hamilton, Ohio-based iMFLUX is a wholly owned subsidiary of Procter & Gamble Co. Its processing software integrates machine learning to allow equipment to run more reliably with fewer operator adjustments.
