Multilift Designed to work with Arburg’s Allrounder injection molding machines, Models 270 through 1120, with clamping forces ranging from about 44 tons to 730 tons, these linear robots are available in horizontal and vertical configurations. They have load capacities starting at about 6.6 pounds, for the smallest horizontal version. Each robot has a swiveling pneumatic gripper axis, which can be upgraded to a servo-electric axis as an option. Featuring a telescopic design, which minimizes the robots’ overall height, the robots are especially appropriate for the manufacture and assembly of component assemblies, and production of right and left parts with packaging or multi-component injection molding on two machines.
What’s new? A new model, the vertical Multilift V 20. With a 44.1-pound load capacity, it closes the gap between Arburg’s existing vertical Multilift robots, which have payloads ranging from about 13.2 pounds to 66.1 pounds. Like them, it can be installed above a moving mounting platen.
Benefits Precise and reliable handling of molds and mold inserts. Suitable for demanding turnkey work cells, the Multilift robots have large, customizable working areas and variable-length axes, making them easy to integrate with other equipment. They also have energy-efficient drive technology, with brake-energy recovery; and energy-efficient vacuum regeneration, with a programmable vacuum generator. They are easy to set up and start, and offer real-time communication. Built for dependability, they require minimal maintenance.
