Feeder control system works with Coperion K-Tron's full line

KCM-III This feeder control system, which can be used with all Coperion K-Tron feeders, allows users to choose from among several languages on its 5-inch LCD screen. Using its context-sensitive help function, the screen provides relevant information with the push of a single button. Rather than providing alarm numbers that must be looked up on a checklist, Coperion K-Tron’s KCM-III provides the steps that need to be taken to fix an error.

What’s new? The KCM-III, which has been completely redesigned from its predecessor. Its powerful CPU offers expanded memory, allowing it to collect more log and event files, and improving its ability to trace and process data.

Benefits Precise control. The KCM-III’s improved algorithms offer faster communication with the feeder drive, weighing system and peripherals, allowing the feeder control system to react quickly to any changes. It has higher weighing resolution than earlier models. Its integrated Ethernet capability allows it to connect to a PLC without requiring additional data converters, and, with its optional Wi-Fi gateway, operators can access any networked KCM-III control module via smartphone, tablet, laptop or other device.
