Burger & Brown Engineering Inc. announced that Corey Brown will serve as the company’s president starting Jan. 1. He joined the company in 2014 as a project engineer and became VP in 2017.
Founded in 1978 by Phil Burger, the Grandview, Mo.-based company offers precision machining, engineering design and custom injection molding, as well as auxiliary products for injection molding and blow molding in its Smartflow line. Mark Brown, who joined the company in 1994, became its president and owner in 2005. He will continue his role as CEO after Corey Brown becomes president and said that they are six years into a nine-year transition of leadership and ownership.
“Corey has developed nicely, and I am excited to see where he will lead the company in the next 20 years,” Mark Brown said.
