Mahr Inc., a manufacturer of precision measurement equipment for metrology named Josh Howlett its new Northeast regional sales manager. Howlett has held sales management jobs with several companies, most recently serving as regional sales manager for Koma Precision.
The Providence, R.I.-based company also appointed Celina Ortiz its manager of quality assurance. Ortiz comes to Mahr from Freeport-McMoRan, where she was a quality assurance manager. They both join Bill Taylor, who was recently named GM, sales, for the U.S. and Canada. Taylor has more than 20 years of industrial experience, and joins Mahr after serving in the Army and National Guard, as well as working for Kistler Instrument, Kokusian Inc. and Wellman Thermal Systems.
