BlendTrac AEC’s new software can monitor and control up to 100 of the company’s A-B, BD and OA gravimetric blenders across multiple facilities. BlendTrac software remotely monitors the materials in each blender’s hopper and can track material reference numbers, lot numbers and silo numbers to aid in quality control. It can log as many as 1,000 alarms per blender and up to 5,000 consecutive batch weights to monitor trends.
What’s new? The software, which can be added to new AEC batch weigh blenders or installed on older models.
Benefits Labor cost savings and simplified inventory management. The easy-to-use software eliminates manual labor dedicated to tracking material consumption at each blender and can signal when it’s time to reorder. It also allows operators to monitor blending parameters from a central location, eliminating trips to each blender. The software can also reduce material costs by precisely controlling the use of expensive additives and resins.
