Firm's probes work with CMM arms from Faro

Kinematic XR probes MetrologyWorks offers a line of aftermarket replacement probes, styli and accessories for portable coordinate measuring machine (CMM) arms from Faro Technologies, including the Quantum S, M and E arms and Faro’s Design ScanArm 2.0. MetrologyWorks offers more than 300 variations of probe length and size, and can build custom styli quickly based on customer requests. The probes are available in stainless steel and zircon versions.

What’s new? The Kinematic XR probe line, which began shipping in November.

Benefits Repeatability. Once kinematic probes have been calibrated with a CMM arm, they can be removed and reattached quickly, because integrated electronics remember the arm’s size and the calibration settings.
