Engel presses get updated CC300 controller

Injection molding machines Engel has upgraded the controller for its injection molding machines, which include hydraulic, electric, horizontal and vertical models for applications ranging from precision micro parts to large automotive components.

What's new? Numerous upgrades to the CC300 controller. The improved controller will be standard on all new Engel presses worldwide, with shipments beginning in early summer. New features include an overview of all components and machine tasks that is located on the home screen, which allows the operator to more quickly switch from one task or component to another. New "breadcrumb" navigation lets the user move easily among software levels. The CC300 control unit also now offers tutorials that quickly and efficiently inform the machine operator on ways to improve quality, save time or understand software upgrades.
