Engel's newest injection molding press model uses an all-electric, tie-bar-less design to guarantee particularly high platen parallelism and an even clamping force of up to about 85 tons.

E-motion 80 TL Engel's newest injection molding press model uses an all-electric, tie-bar-less design to guarantee particularly high platen parallelism and an even clamping force of up to about 85 tons. The general-purpose press can be adapted to all levels of clean-room classifications.

What's new? The size. Engel showed the new model at Fakuma, where the press made needle holders for 1-milliliter safety syringes, delivering a shot weight of just 0.08 gram per part.

Benefits High precision, process stability, versatility, fast tooling processes and potential for efficient automation integration. The machine's design allows barrier-free access to the mold, and with no tie bars to get in the way, it can work with a wide range of mold sizes, ensuring productive use of floor space.
