Bauer Plastics Technology Group, Norfolk, Va., has finalized an agreement with Plastec USA Inc. for the distribution of its products into Latin America.
David Sosa, sales manager for Plastec USA, said that the agreement will help eliminate the down time that some molders now experience. Bauer's products include nitrogen generators, nitrogen control units and a new product for Bauer, an all-in-one nitrogen generator, compressor and nitrogen process control unit branded as the Bauer N2IT.
Bauer Plastics Technology Group, like other companies in the plastics industry, is in growth mode. In addition to this alliance, Bauer Compressors recently completed an expansion that added 16,500 square feet of manufacturing space. The facility is home to state-of-the-art robotic sheet metal manufacturing equipment and an automated powder coat paint line. It includes testing, evaluation and customer training facilities.
