Micro-Epsilon system measures film thickness

Feb. 10, 2025
It offers easy setup and accurate measurements for electrically conductive films such as battery films.

capaNCDT TFG6220 Consisting of a measuring bracket with sensors and an external controller unit, this capacitive Micro-Epsilon measuring system can be used offline to determine the thickness of samples of electrically conductive films, such as battery films. The system calculates the thickness by evaluating the readings of two capacitive sensors located opposite each other. It measures from two sides onto the measuring insert, which acts as a reference surface.

What’s new? The measuring system, announced by Micro-Epsilon in December.

Benefits Easy setup and accurate thickness measurements. Featuring an intuitive web interface, the measuring system comes pre-assembled and ready to use.
