Reifenhäuser appoints new chief sales officer
Reifenhäuser Group has named Marcel Perrevort to the position of chief sales officer, effective July 1, to succeed Ulrich Reifenhäuser, who had held the job for more than 25 years.
Succeeding Perrevort, who most recently was managing director of Reifenhäuser Blown Film, is Eugen Friedel as part of a new dual management team alongside Andreas Neuss. Friedel, who has a degree in business administration, has held various sales positions at Reifenhäuser Blown Film for over 25 years — most recently as sales director.
The changes come amid the family-owned extrusion equipment manufacturer’s generational transition in its management structure.
“I am very much looking forward to my new role as CSO and the associated task of strengthening our leading position in the market. One focus will certainly be the further expansion of our international sales and service units, which will enable us to become even more customer-centric in the market," Perrevort said. In his new role as CSO, he is primarily responsible for the group's sales and service strategy and its alignment with the activities of the business units.
Meanwhile, Ulrich Reifenhäuser — a 2021 Plastics Hall of Fame inductee who won the 2022 Georg Menges Prize for his contributions to plastics research — will continue his work in associations and committees within the plastics industry and will remain a consultant for the company. He has been chairman of the K show since 2004, and has served in leadership for VDMA, the German plastics and rubber machinery manufacturer’s association.
