iXray This Inoex family of three models of measurement products uses X-ray radiation to measure the wall thicknesses and diameters of pipe, tubing and cables with diameters ranging from 1mm to 63mm. The measurement technologies are designed to help users deal with challenges that include diversifying product portfolios, increasing digitalization, the shortage of skilled labor and the need for more-complex documentation of products.
What’s new? A statistics module. This capability extends the iXray system’s functionality by adding decisive analysis functions. It can display up to three process values in a histogram, providing a visual interpretation of measurement data and their distribution over time.
Benefits Consistent production and fewer rejects. The iXray's histogram visualization is useful for detecting trends, evaluating process performance, assessing process stability and identifying potential quality problems. The module also can automatically transfer tolerance values from the pipe, tube or cable recipe, which simplifies setup of the measuring system. The automatic monitoring of tolerances ensures that production remains consistent within specified quality standards, and it minimizes the risk of rejects.
