AKHN-B film take-off This Hosokawa Alpine film take-off unit has a modular design with features that help optimize a variety of properties required to produce high-quality film. It has a standard working width ranging from about 4.3 feet to about 8.5 feet, with the optional ability to extend it to about 10.5 feet. Its take-off speed ranges from about 492 feet per minute to peak values of about 984 feet per minute.

What’s new? The AKHN-B, which debuted at K2022. It is available with an S-Wrap 1, S-Wrap 2 or S-Wrap 4 tempering unit, which can optimize the flatness and quality of the film.

Benefits User-friendly design. The AKHN-B has done away with a separate control cabinet, reduced the number of crossbars in its frame and added sliding doors to give users better access to its components. Compared with previous models, its decreased overall height and other adjustments make roller changes, maintenance work and cleaning tasks easier. The AKHN-B also has one touch capability and is fully integrated into the ExVis process visualization system, which allows recipes to be stored and imported.
