Its VB-.25-SSXHDI Vee Cone Blender uniformly combines dry bulk solids in capacities up to 8 quarts.

Vee Cone Blenders These blenders from Munson Machinery uniformly combine dry bulk solids, and are available with capacities as large as 200 cubic feet. The blenders have two cylinders connected in a “V” shape that are rotated, so that the solids within them divide and converge with every revolution. The blenders are constructed of carbon steel with stainless-steel material contact surfaces, and are also offered in all-stainless-steel, sanitary units finished to USDA, 3-A and pharmaceutical standards.

What’s new? The laboratory-sized VB-.25-SSXHDI model, which is available in capacities up to 8 quarts. It is well-suited for running tests of resins, minerals, pellets or other powdered/granulated material, with or without liquid additions.

Benefits High-density capabilities. This model is equipped with an appropriately sized motor to handle materials with bulk densities of up to 100 pounds per cubic foot at speeds of up to 30 rpm, typically achieving consistent blends in 15 to 30 minutes. Smooth interior surfaces let materials flow, allow for complete discharge and make cleaning between changeovers easy. For operator safety, the blender is housed in a safety-interlocked PC enclosure with lifting handles. Options include an independently powered Intensifier Bar, which breaks up soft agglomerates and improves material diffusion, and a Dispersion Bar, which sprays liquid additions onto the moving materials to speed uniform blending.
