Round spout separator Eriez makes a wide range of magnetic separation equipment that protects machinery from damage and end products from contamination from tramp iron. Among those products are its grate magnet models, which use ceramic or rare earth magnets to capture ferrous contamination from dry and free-flowing bulk materials.
What’s new? Eriez’s round spout separators. They have a streamlined, low-profile design that allows for installation in areas that have only half as much vertical space as Eriez’s standard units would require.
Benefits Tight-space installation. The separators eliminate the need for square-to-round adapters on inlet and outlet ports and are ideal in areas where vertical space is limited. They are easy to clean, with manual push/pull operation to rid the grates of accumulated tramp metal, as well as an automatic version with pneumatic cylinders that function at the push of a button, or on a timed schedule. Swing- bolt construction makes it convenient to access the magnets. They feature dust-tight construction with 304 stainless steel, a glass bead surface finish and optional sanitary construction. Eriez’s rare earth magnets can operate at temperatures up to 150 degrees Fahrenheit, with options that work at higher temperatures.
