Windmöller & Hölscher has appointed Falco Paepenmüller its CTO, a newly created position. He now is a member of the management board of the flexible packaging machinery maker, joining Chairman Jürgen Vutz and Peter Steinbeck, the chief sales and service officer. Paepenmüller will be responsible for the company’s extrusion, printing and conversion business units. He has been with the Lengerich, Germany, company since 2007, most recently serving as head of the extrusion unit.
Torsten Schmitz, who has worked for Windmöller & Hölscher since 2008, succeeded Paepenmüller as head of the company’s extrusion business unit.
