Machinex Group, Plessisville, Quebec, has promoted Chris Hawn to CEO of Machinex Technologies Inc. (MTI). He has been with the company since 2010, most recently serving as the company's executive VP of sales and business development.
"In recent years, the sales department of the company has evolved considerably, and the structure has been expanded with the addition of new employees and new methods," said Pierre Paré, chairman and president of Machinex Group, a manufacturer of recycling equipment.
"In my vision of the new structure of the sales department, it was imperative that MTI, the U.S.A. division of Machinex, required a CEO and Chris was perfectly suited for this position," Paré said.
