Plastics Machinery Group, the equipment dealer based in Solon, Ohio, has added injection molding equipment to its offerings. Under CEO Don Kruschke, PMG sold thermoforming, extrusion, blow molding and rotational molding equipment and new and used ancillary equipment.

Kruschke talked about getting into injection molding equipment at the Society of Plastics Engineers' Blow Molding Conference held Oct. 6-7 in Chicago. In addition to the equipment sales, PMG is appraising injection molding equipment and offering remanufacturing services and M&A consulting.

"It feels good to be back," he said. "The industry has done a 180 from where it was five years ago."

Don Kruschke, his brother Neil Kruschke Jr. and their father, Neil Kruschke Sr., started Stopol Inc. in 1990. Neil Kruschke Jr. served as CEO of Stopol and the auction business Stopol Auctions LLC. He sold Stopol in 2009; Neil Kruschke Jr. died in 2011.

Don Kruschke said that the non-compete expired in August, allowing him to move back into injection molding equipment.

PMG has hired a dedicated sales team to market the injection molding equipment in the United States and worldwide. In addition to its Ohio headquarters, PMG has offices in England, Italy and India.
