SmartLine Bekum’s new series of all-electric extrusion blow molding machines includes four models known by their prefix, SBlow. The clamping unit is driven by a swivel drive, which allows for a compact design with high accuracy. Its new HiPEx 36D extruder maintains melt quality at low temperatures for sensitive resins, while saving up to 20 percent in energy consumption. Spiral mandrel extrusion heads enable multilayer production, such as post-consumer recycled material (PCR) or chalk middle layers. The BC 8.0 control system with a 24-inch touch screen includes smart data analysis, real-time process monitoring and predictive maintenance.

What’s new? The series, which made its debut at the K show, producing compact packaging solutions suitable for the fast-moving consumer goods market.
