NPE Booth W4180
WM-030 Developed for extrusion blow molding, these W. Müller screen changers can be installed in vertically oriented extruders. They also are recommended for users of post-consumer resin (PCR).
What’s new? The screen changer series, which consists of six different models. The filtering screen consists of a fixed perforated carrier plate that is covered by several interchangeable grids with different mesh sizes. When the differential pressure on the grid exceeds a specific value, the screen must be changed.
Benefits Ease of use and space savings. The screen changer can be retrofitted and does not require special safety procedures because it has its own drive. Either a hydraulic or electric drive can operate it. When three independent extrusion units are producing a multi-layer plastic part, users can mount the screen changer vertically. Users can install the screen changers according to the connection geometry of any extruder.
