NPE Booth W1381
RS-90 Designed for the manufacture of dairy, industrial and consumer blow molded containers, this 90-ton blow molding machine is the largest in Rocheleau’s stable of reciprocating-screw machines. A variable-frequency drive and hydraulics power the hybrid machine, while two high-torque, high-force rotary actuators provide clamping force.
What’s new? New optional features available for the machine, which made its debut at NPE2018. At NPE, a display machine will sport a number of them, including: new process monitor controls, with I/O link monitor module, sensors and connections for monitoring/measuring hydraulic pressure, temperature and level, accumulator hydraulic and gas pressure, programmer hydraulic pressure and temperature, extrusion melt temperature, mold water pressure, supply and return flow and temperature, extruder screw RPM; mold close pressure, and air pressure for supply, blow and pre-blow.
Other new features include options for simplifying diagnostics with easy-to-use help screens, operator manuals, live alarm diagnostics checks, and preventative maintenance through the operator interface terminal or a smartphone. An optional clamp side shift allows for even wall distribution in containers with off-center necks — bottles that often are used for drinking water, industrial liquids like motor oil and antifreeze, foods items such as cooking oil, and pet products like kibble and cat litter.
Benefits Energy efficiency and improved ease of operation.
