Hosokawa Alpine announced that for the first time in over 40 years, it will not be running a full-scale production line at K 2022. The company said that by not using an in-person display of its blown film technology at the show, it is eliminating waste and focusing those resources on its customers.

In a press release, Alpine said it will have a significant presence at its traditional booth location, Hall 16 Booth D06, and showcase its machinery and sustainable solutions “in an effective and unique way.”

By taking this approach to showing its technology, the company said it will conserve more than 18,000 kilowatt hours of energy, 150,000 pounds of raw materials and save more than 1,000 man-hours of show preparation, installation and operation that “will be utilized serving our valued customers.”
