Series 824 Designed to make tubing for an irrigation system, Guill's latest coextrusion crosshead is adaptable to work with most extruders. It features dual feed ports that provide concentric compound flow. Through the manifold assembly, material flows from one extruder to feed the inside and outside layers. Quick-change tooling and a tool kit for disassembly and re-assembly are provided.What's new? The tool design, created for a customer that needed precise placement of the preformed emitters. 

Benefits Better alignment in the extrusion process, as well as more rapid and easier changeover from coextrusion to a single layer. According to Guill, the customer that requested the design enjoyed cost reductions, more uptime, higher quality parts and a reduction in scrap.
