MWB 100 mini fluidized bed This portable, table-top unit from Ewikon is for quickly cleaning small hot-runner components such as tip inserts, torpedo tips or valve-gate tip inserts. The cleaning chamber has an easy-to-remove basket (which holds up to 24 of Ewikon's HPS III MH tips).
What's new? The unit's size: 12.4 by 6.5 by 6.5 inches. A heated cleaning chamber filled with special sand is moved by air to develop a fluid motion. The movement of hot sand disintegrates and removes plastic residue at temperatures of 662 to 752 degrees Fahrenheit.
Benefits It's small enough to be used at any workstation with an exhaust system. Cleaning takes one to 2½ hours, depending on material.
