Amsler upgrades stretch blow molding machine

L32 convertible Amsler Equipment Inc. has upgraded this L32 three-cavity convertible stretch blow molding machine, which is targeted at small, custom blow molders that need to run a wide variety of containers. The machine can produce bottles as large as 2 liters in three cavities, up to 3 liters in two cavities and up to 5 liters in a single cavity.

What's new? An updated operator panel, vision inspection for preforms and expanded capabilities; the L32 can now produce jars with neck diameters up to 63mm.

Benefits Servo-driven stretch rods yield a fast, repeatable process. Changeovers are quick—15 minutes for molds and two hours for a neck change. Amsler says initial setup can be as short as three days, including production training.
