Stratasys joins forces with technology school

July 30, 2015

Dunwoody College of Technology has partnered with Stratasys Ltd., Eden Prairie, Minn., a manufacturer of 3-D printing technology, as it incorporates additive manufacturing into its curriculum.

The Minneapolis college, which offers coursework in a number of fields, including manufacturing, auto-career training and computer technology, uses three Stratasys printers as teaching tools in its program. In addition, it has direct access to application engineers from the company, as well as a curriculum developed by Stratasys. It strives to give students hands-on opportunities to contribute to traditional manufacturing processes with the use of 3-D printing. By collaborating with Stratasys, Dunwoody plans to continue to expand its curriculum and offer certificate programs for students and professionals.
