At Automate 2025 in May, Kistler displayed a new modular process monitoring system tailored for injection molding called AkvisIO IME 7.0.

The software is designed to consolidate, document and analyze quality data from several sources. The company said it will help processors optimize processes, increase efficiency and improve part quality.

Kistler said it also provides fast detection of process fluctuations and parameter trends, and features auto-generated quality reports.

It includes new visualization features and expanded connectivity via OPC-UA and Euromap 77 protocols. The software will monitor multiple components, track long-term trends and optimize efficiency.

It is also being positioned as a gateway for upcoming add-ons to conduct data analytics based on statistical methods and AI.
