Allrounder Arburg’s series of Allrounder injection molding machines (IMMs) include its electric Allrounder Alldrives, with clamping forces from 39 tons to 560 tons, the hydraulic Allrounder HiDrives, from 39 tons to 730 tons, and the servo-electric drive Allrounder Golden Electrics, from 65 tons to 308 tons.
What’s new? Availability of a so-called slimline version for the 280-ton Allrounder Alldrive 630 A. Arburg introduced it at Fakuma 2024, where it also showed a slimmed-down version of the 308-ton Allrounder 720 E Golden Electric, which debuted at NPE 2024. Slimline versions are available for Arburg’s bigger IMMs, up to 560 tons. Among other changes to the slimline versions of the machines, the IMMs have an easily accessible control cabinet and parts chute, along with a lubrication unit and optional pneumatic system that are located on the operating side. Using a Size 800 injection unit, the Allrounder Alldrive 630 A at Fakuma produced drinking tumblers made of transparent copolyester with 50 percent recycled content.
Benefits Smaller footprint. The width of the slimline versions of Arburg’s IMMs is about 20 percent less than their standard counterparts.
