ONE*-E This new line of all-electric injection molding machines from LS Mtron is appropriate for the high-speed, high-cavitation and thin-wall molding processes typically used to make packaging and medical parts. Available in five sizes, with clamping forces ranging from 120 tons to 390 tons, the machines feature a highly rigid, cast, one-piece structure for enhanced durability and precise injection control.
What’s new? The ONE*-E line, and its optimized toggle mechanism that allows for fast cycles and more precise molding. The machines have a smaller footprint than previous comparable models as well as HMI updates. Presses in the line are Industry 4.0-ready, using the company’s CSI monitoring and control software for retrieving and controlling data. The company plans to launch four more models this year.
Benefits Precise control, high outputs and fast, best-in-class speeds with 1.49-second dry cycle times. Clamping force is monitored via a tie-bar sensor. The machines’ Dual Center Press Die structure minimizes the deformation of the die plate and enhances the distribution of surface pressure in the mold, helping to extend mold life. The machines are also more convenient to use due to additional functions such as maintenance notification and power monitoring.
