Summary

Bioresins present new challenges for plastics processors but they are important materials for the future. There is a growing movement away from petroleum-based, single-use plastics and many believe bioplastics are the best alternatives.

Materials suppliers are investing heavily in developing new biomaterials, so it is only a matter of time before more processors are going to be expected to understand processing requirements.

Lauryn Burdette, a Process Engineer in the Extrusion Division at KraussMaffei Corp. in Florence, Ky., can demystify bioresins and help you understand the materials, equipment and techniques to be successful. She can also share sstories from companies that are already finding success.

Join Lauryn for a free webinar at 2 p.m. ET on Aug. 8.
Key takeaways:

  • What are bioresins and how are they different from the materials you currently process.
  • Special equipment needed to process bioresins in twin-screw extruders.
  • Techniques and critical steps in processing bioresins.

Attending this one-hour webinar at 2 p.m. ET on Aug. 8 can pay big dividends in your future. Be sure to register today.
