Luxor EM A Designed to handle a variety of applications, these mobile, dehumidified-air resin dryers from Motan use a closed process cycle in combination with temperature-controlled regeneration. They also can be equipped for dew-point-controlled regeneration. They have integrated dry-air drying and a side-channel blower, as well as a small, monitored cyclone dust-collection filter. They are designed to be integrated into conveying systems that can control up to three of Motan's Metro-G material loaders, one to supply the drying bin with materials and as many as two loaders for the processing machines. Shown is a Luxor EM A 150 model.

What's new? Power use compatible with the North American market. Originally designed for Europe, these dryers can now run on 480 volts/60 hertz.

Benefits Ease of use; high-efficiency, material-protective drying; and compact size. To start the drying process, an operator needs only to specify the kind of material that needs to be dried, using the company's graphics-based Luxornet EM touch-screen controls. The dryers' integrated DryingOrganizer function monitors the amount of material being dried and adjusts the drying temperature as necessary. The database includes parameters for about 70 common materials and can accommodate an additional 50 customer-specified data sets. The dryers can be linked together or integrated into a central system, and data from the systems can be collected centrally. With a depth of only 2 feet, the dryers can be used even in tight workspaces.
