Rinco Ultrasonics' new AGM Pro integration generator for ultrasonic welding is designed for use in automated and semi-automated lines for assembling plastic parts, such as packaging and automotive components.

AGM Pro Rinco Ultrasonics' new integration generator for ultrasonic welding is designed for use in automated and semi-automated lines for assembling plastic parts, such as packaging and automotive components. Users can define welding parameters via the integrated 3.1-inch color touch screen or through a mobile terminal or PC. The AGM Pro features a slim design so that it can be used in small spaces.

What's new? The ability to store up to 16 sets of parameters and the incorporation of an interchangeable communications module. The module can be easily changed out to allow the generator to use a wide variety of industrial communication protocols, including EtherNet/IP, Profibus, Profinet, EtherCAT and DeviceNet. Launched in Europe at K2016, the AGM Pro is making its U.S. debut at NPE2018; Rinco will begin shipping it to customers in June.

Benefits Fast processing speeds, and the ability to swap out communications protocols on the fly with the communications module. This makes the generator compatible for integration with equipment from anywhere in the world.
