AMS Trex Device Communicator Emerson has upgraded this handheld unit, which helps to minimize downtime by detecting and diagnosing a variety of problems in devices and machinery, including issues with wiring, valve assemblies and other components. Auto Sync technology automatically synchronizes field data with a facility's AMS Device Manager database, which provides predictive diagnostics and simplifies the configuration and calibration of field devices. If the device is operating in an area where the changes can't be uploaded in real time, it caches them until it can access and upload to the Device Manager database via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or USB.
What's new? The Auto Sync feature and wireless connectivity.
Benefits Convenience, toughness and the ability to automatically connect to the Device Manager system. The AMS Trex weighs a mere 3 pounds and its durable construction makes it suitable for use in harsh industrial settings. It also automatically logs and time-stamps all changes in real time, giving maintenance and operations personnel nearly instant access to field changes, as well as providing an accurate audit trail for compliance and analysis.
