EJ7 series Now available as a plug-in, Beckhoff's compact drive technology for motors provides Ether-Cat I/O machine communications and connectivity. The machine controllers regulate the power, speed, direction and torque of individual motors. They are designed for use by large and medium-sized original equipment manufacturers. Three models are available: the EJ7047 stepper motor module for applications in the medium-performance range; the EJ7211-0010 for dynamic positioning tasks; and the EJ7342 for direct operation of two DC motors.

Benefits Customization capabilities, within a compact and cost-effective package. The controllers replace the need for wiring of electrical devices, which Beckhoff says will lead to lower equipment costs and fewer wiring problems. The plug-in style is also faster to implement than wiring.
