2000Xc Branson's newest addition to the 2000X series of ultrasonic assembly systems combines consistent, high-quality welds with greater process control. The system, which can weld at frequencies of 20, 30 and 40 kHz, has a touch-screen monitor and advanced communications features.

What's new? An updated control panel with secure process controls, four levels of password hierarchy and software to maintain a process-change audit trail, as well as the ability to electronically program weld settings according to a number of factors, including weld pressure and hold pressure. Other features include storage for 100,000 weld result histories and 1,000 weld presets, as well as a USB barcode for recording parts' Unique Device Identifications.

Benefits Greater part traceability and security to ensure compliance with regulations in the medical, automotive, business and consumer electronics industries. Because the system has no operator-accessible controls, validated processes are safe from inadvertent changes.
