Roll puller Reduction Engineering Scheer's new roll puller works with standard pultrusion pelletizing equipment to deliver greater pull force when working with long-fiber thermoplastics. Units are geared to accommodate customer speed and pull-force requirements. While current models have the capacity to pull as much as 8,400 pounds, designs are being developed to deliver up to 34,300 pounds of pull force.
What's new? Heavy-duty design for pull force of 175 pounds per strand.
Benefits Lower maintenance costs and greater traction, resulting in less slippage. Because the new roll puller has a roll-type design, it is less costly than belts or cleats, which eventually need to be replaced.
