Mixing screw Reiloy Westland is targeting injection molding, extrusion, injection blow molding and other processes with its new mixer design concept. The product, which is patent pending and does not yet have a name, provides both dispersive and distributive mixing, and improves isothermal melt quality while increasing throughput.
What's new? The design. The continual introduction of new resins has created a need for more flexibility in design to meet processing and production goals. The design allows for custom modifications to meet customer processing needs.
