BinMaster, which makes level sensors for a variety of industries, including the plastics industry, now offers ultrasonic sensors, thanks to its acquisition of a company offering the technology.
The Lincoln, Neb., company has announced it has acquired Senix Corp., along with that company’s Senix Ultrasonics, including its ToughSonic sensors. Available for over 30 years, the sensors are suitable for measuring distances up to 50 feet and come in a variety of sizes and mounting options. They can be easily added or retrofit into existing tanks and conveying equipment.
According to BinMaster, ultrasonic sensors can measure layer thickness and roll diameters, and profile loads on conveyor belts.
