Beckhoff Automation LLC reported $134 million in revenue in the U.S. in 2022, an increase of 33.4 percent over the previous year.
Beckhoff USA said it also has grown its workforce to 218 employees and expanded its executive team, which now includes Jake Schieffer, VP of sales; Steve Boelte, regional director – central; Don Shanklin, regional director – sales and process improvement; David Emory, director of strategic sales; Daymon Thompson, director of product management; Matt Lecheler, director of application engineering; and Kevin Manton, director of engineering.
President Kevin Barker attributes the company’s successes to the growing awareness of PC-based automation benefits among technology leaders and continued digital transformation efforts at Beckhoff USA. The company has invested in new business software and an automated storage and retrieval system, which will shorten lead and shipping times upon completion in the middle of this year.
The company said it increased local inventory by 50 percent in 2022 to buffer global supply chain challenges and is working to add another 50 percent this year.
Beckhoff USA doubled its internship program in 2022, hiring 66 percent of the participants in the program, and will double the number of interns again this year. The Associate Application Consultant position, launching this year, is aimed at recently graduated engineers, who will serve in multiple departments and offices around the country.
“Building an incredible, talented team remains critical for sustaining this level of growth. We’re building something amazing here and want amazing people to be part of it,” Barker said.
