MRS IndustrialChillers Frigel has expanded its family of packaged air-cooled chillers for plastics processing. The MRS line features eight compact chillers that are rated from 3.5 tons to 15.4 tons of cooling capacity; 8.6-ton and 13.7-ton models are available for use with open extrusion tanks. The chillers have single hermetic scroll compressors and boast a wide operating temperature range; the leaving water temperature set-point range is from 23 degrees to 77 degrees Fahrenheit.

Benefits Versatility. The chillers are available in multiple configurations and can be installed indoors or outdoors. MRS chillers have a pump and tank built in so they can be moved easily from machine to machine.
