Tayte French Lutz, who has served as VP of French Oil Mill Machinery Co., has succeeded her father, Daniel French, as CEO of the company, according to the equipment maker’s board of directors, which voted on the change Sept. 21. Daniel French will maintain his position as chairman of the board, while French Lutz also serves as vice chairwoman.
French Lutz represents the fourth generation of leadership within the French family since the company’s establishment in 1900. She joined the family business in 2010, working in various aspects of the business, from marketing, brand management and community involvement to operations and strategic planning.
Of the promotion she said, “I am deeply honored to take on the position of vice chair and CEO at French Oil Mill Machinery Company. I am excited to build upon the strong foundation established by my family and predecessors, while continuing to drive innovative solutions to our industry. Headquartered in Piqua, Ohio, French Oil makes hydraulic presses, rubber mixers, oilseed and polymer processing equipment.
